Edward F. West
President and Chief Executive Officer

Edward F. West has served as one of our directors since November 2001 and as Chair of the board since June 2005. Mr. West currently serves as Managing Director of Sage Partners LLC, an advisory services firm in venture development and strategic leadership. Mr. West also has served as a director for Memetrics, a global provider of testing and optimization solutions for marketers located in San Francisco, since January 2006 and has served as a director of Advanced Ticketing Systems located in London since April 2006. Mr. West served as Chief Executive Officer of Colarity Corporation, a customer knowledge management company, from January 2001 to December 2003. From December 1999 to December 2000, Mr. West served as Chief Executive Officer of RealNames International, the global development subsidiary of RealNames Corporation, an Internet names and navigation platform provider. From May 1998 to December 1999, Mr. West served as Executive Vice President, Business Development, Sales and Marketing, at RealNames Corporation. From January 1996 to April 1998, Mr. West served as Chief Operating Officer of Softbank Interactive Marketing, a provider of marketing services and sales representation to Internet sites seeking interactive advertisers. Mr. West received an A.B. in Architecture/Urban Planning from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Stacey Giamalis
Senior Vice President Legal and Human Resources, General Counsel, and Secretary

Stacey Giamalis joined LookSmart as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in July 2005. She has 15 years of experience as a corporate attorney representing technology and other industries. As LookSmart's General Counsel, Stacey is responsible for advising on legal matters, including corporate, contractual, intellectual property and international.

Prior to joining LookSmart, Stacey was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of QRS Corporation, a hosted network for retail e-commerce. Before QRS, she was the Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of CrossWorlds Software, an enterprise software company that went public during Stacey's tenure. She was previously in private practice.

Stacey received a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall) and a B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Davis.

Jonathan Ewert
General Manager, Advertising Networks

Jonathan Ewert joined LookSmart in April 2007 as East Coast Vice President, Advertising and Publisher Services. Currently, Jonathan serves as General Manager of LookSmart Advertising Networks. In this role, he has P&L responsibility for LookSmart's premium and performance advertising services. Jonathan brings over 15 years of experience in interactive technology.

Prior to joining LookSmart, Jonathan served as Chief Executive Officer at ePALS Classroom Exchange where he oversaw technology, product development, human resources, finance, and overall company strategy. Previously he served as Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Modem Media and held a variety of management roles at Infoseek.

Jonathan holds a B.S. in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross.

Ari Kaufman
General Manager, Publisher Services

Ari Kaufman joined LookSmart in April 2007 as Vice President, Publisher Services with the responsibility for managing the entire sales lifecycle, from the pre- and post-sales engineering process through account management, customer support, and renewal. In his current role as General Manager of Publisher Services, Ari is responsible for the National Publisher Services Operation including sales, account management, technical sales, and corporate and product marketing. Leading the complete strategic vision of the Publisher Services line of business, Ari holds P&L responsibility for one of LookSmart's two premium and performance business solutions. Ari brings over 10 years of experience in Internet advertising.

Prior to joining LookSmart, Ari served as Vice President of Sales at TruEffect Inc., a privately held Internet ad serving corporation, where he led the growth of the national sales organization. He also served as Vice President of Business Development at Integro, an eBusiness consulting firm. As Chief Strategy Officer for the international, London-based WILink.com plc., Ari facilitated pre- and post-IPO growth strategies and the revenue development cycle. Ari was one of the original founders of Zacks.com, and served as Executive Vice President of Internet Operations and Advertising and pioneered advertising-based websites.

Ari holds a B.S. in Animal Science from Purdue University.

Michael Schoen
Vice President, Product and Technology

Michael Schoen joined LookSmart Ltd. as Director, Technology in October 2000 in connection with the Company's acquisition of Zeal.com where he was responsible for Zeal's community-contributed Internet directory. He assumed his current role as Vice President, Product and Technology in April of 2004. In this capacity, Michael is responsible for the product strategy and implementation of LookSmart's Paid Listings products, serving both advertisers and publisher licensees.

Prior to Looksmart, Michael served as Director, Technology for Warner / Elektra / Atlantic Corp, the music distribution arm of Warner Music Group. Michael also served as a consultant in the Advanced Technology Group at Accenture (formerly known as Andersen Consulting).

Michael received an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and an A.B. in computer science from Harvard College.

Bert Knorr
Vice President, Technology

Bert Knorr joined LookSmart as VP, Engineering for Ad Products in June 2005. Bert and the engineering and product teams launched the new AdCenter and the Next Generation BI (BING). His teams also rewrote major components of the Looksmart Ad Serving platform and launched Contextual Targeting. All Looksmart engineering was consolidated under Bert's leadership. In his current role as Vice President, Technology, Bert is responsible for Engineering, Operations, and IT. Bert brings over 20 years of experience in Information Technology and 10 years of experience managing engineering and operations for various Internet companies.

Prior to LookSmart, Bert served as VP of Operations at Lycos, Chief Information Officer at Evite, Vice President of Information Services at Wired, and Manager of Application Development for Finance Systems at Apple Computer.

Bert received an M.A. in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Political Science from University of Binghamton.
