Sales Coordinator –
Publisher Services
LookSmart is seeking a Sales Coordinator with experience in the online advertising or media industry to join our Publisher Services team at the San Francisco headquarters. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating sales activities while working with Sr. Sales Managers, Technical Engineers and Clients to build effective business opportunities and partnerships with traditional online publishers located across the United States. Your focus will consist of managing the sales cycle process. You will effectively and aggressively organize and project-manage multiple stages of the deal cycle with multiple accounts simultaneously, including lead generation, deal-modeling, proposal-writing, coordinating meetings and technical resources, communicating with clients and tracking deals through the sales cycle. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated multi-tasker, who works well in a fast-past environment under tight deadlines with our diverse teams and has a high level of positive energy and enthusiasm for our success.
Required qualifications:
- 5 years experience in a sales coordination, account management or project management role working in a sales support capacity, with 2 years of internet advertising, ad serving or search marketing experience.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects, opportunities or deals simultaneously, working well to meet and exceed deadline requirements.
- Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills for presenting proposals, deal models and deliverables to clients.
- Must be able to apply a support-service mentality to internal teams and clients equally and have a proven track record in aligning and driving projects to successful completion in a timely manner.
- Positive, team-oriented personality with the desire, ability and drive to ride a steep, continuous learning curve in the internet industry.
- Experience with sales automation software (Salesforce.com).
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Analytical experience with regard to modeling sales opportunities and/or a high proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
