Traffic Manager

LookSmart is currently seeking a Traffic Manager to join our Network Management team. The Traffic Manager will manage the traffic for LookSmart’s AdCenter Private Label Partners (PLPs), our partners who private label our ad serving platform. The main responsibilities include analyzing the quality of traffic to the individual PLP’s advertisers, finding ways to optimize it through helping them manage relationships and adjusting back end settings. The Traffic Manager will work closely with our Publisher Solutions team and Account Managers at each of our PLPs. Will track, analyze and report on delivered traffic, as well as create requirements and work with Product team to implement best-of-breed traffic management systems. Some traffic will contain adult content. Position requires light travelling.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years’ of experience in a product development or consultancy environment (management consultant, project manager or product manager).
• Minimum 2 years’ in client-facing roles.
• Minimum 5 years’ overall online experience .
• Strong understanding of Internet technologies, the search and online marketing industries.
• Understanding of Click Fraud and how it affects the online marketing.
• Strong analytic skills.
• Demonstrable leadership experience and strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills - demonstrates experience establishing trust, credibility and respect with internal and external parties.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis tools (including MS Excel).

Desired Skills:

• Hands-on experience with PHP, SQL, XML and other common Internet technologies a plus.
